Named after the King of the Pipers, Paddy Keenan. A former member of the Bothy Band, Paddy has been referred to as “The Jimi Hendrix of the Pipes” and “The best piper in the world” In his past he was known to be wild, moody, unpredictable and his style of piping reflects this, evoking images of the wild rugged countryside along the west coast of Ireland. Paddy has visited Doolin on many occasions, joining in sessions in the local music pubs here - you never know your luck!
The Keenan Room is one of our most popular rooms. Situated on the first floor, a large Velux window in the sloping ceiling offers views over fields and Doolin towards the Cliffs of Moher. West facing, you can enjoy those wonderful sunsets from right here in your room.
